The Pinnacles

What a fascinating country we live in! These stone pillars stand in a desert just 150klms north of Perth and almost right by the ocean.

The rich yellow sands contrast against white sand, blue sky and the green shrubs that surround them. Driving through the 4klm track made us feel as though we had arrived on another planet- quite an experience! Rare to find a national park where you can drive this close to such formations and thankfully the monuments appear fairly well preserved considering that tourists pass amongst them daily.
Trailers need to be unhitched before driving through but there's plenty of parking. Be sure to visit, this place is amazing!!
